Founded in 1699, Sidcot School is a truly Happy School that does not overly pressure its students. After classes, students have the opportunity to participate in "Explore Activities," such as cave exploration and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme. The school recognises the importance of good mental well-being for every student, and as such, it mandates that all members, including the headmaster, participate in 20 minutes of meditation and reflection each week, allowing students to recharge their spirits. Students are required to report on their well-being to the headmaster and teachers each week to ensure that they grow in a happy and harmonious learning environment.
