Queen's University Belfast Introduction

Queen's University Belfast is located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The university traces its roots back to the Belfast Academical Institution, founded in 1810. In 1845, it received a royal charter and became part of Queen’s University, Ireland, under the name Queen’s College, Belfast. In 1908, the university gained independence and was renamed Queen's Belfast University. It is also a member of the Russell Group.
