House Dining System: Fostering Student Relationships

Situated on a hill, the school enjoys a tranquil and picturesque setting, providing a conducive environment for learning. Additionally, Malvern gives students a Harry Potter-like feeling, with historic and charming buildings scattered across the campus. Like many boarding schools, Malvern follows a House Dining System, where all boarding students dine together with their peers, teachers, and housemasters or mistresses from the same boarding house. This system promotes camaraderie and a sense of belonging among students.

Simplified admission process suitable for international students

While Malvern is a traditional public school, its admission requirements and process are relatively straightforward compared to other public schools. Firstly, parents do not need to submit applications two to three years in advance. Secondly, while some public schools require UKiset scores, Malvern's admission process only requires entrance exams and interviews. The school also offers curriculum options that cater to international students, such as the choice between A-levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. In addition, there is a one-year GCSE course specifically designed for international students, facilitating the transition for students from Hong Kong who have completed Form 3.

The school has a dedicated art centre called The Lindsey Art Centre, which provides various workshops and activities for students to learn different artistic skills and explore specialised art disciplines such as fashion design, jewellery design, and silverware design.
